Our people are our driving force

The acceleration of technological development and changes in business processes require that employees constantly learn new skills and acquire improved knowledge in order to remain competitive and satisfied in their workplace. We support our colleagues in their desire to further their education or specialize in certain fields. That is why Metalfer allocates funds for education and training for its employees every year, where we cooperate with eminent consulting firms, accredited training centres and educational institutions. In addition to external collaborators, our most expert people, under the auspices of the Metalfer professional academy, also conduct internal training in accordance with the wishes of employees – in their sector or another sector.

Employees who are well-trained and knowledgeable about new technologies, trends and business processes are more productive, motivated and efficient in their work. Continuous education undoubtedly encourages their innovation, which can lead to new ideas and solutions for production problems; through the initiative Metalfer proposes, we also show them that we really care about hearing their opinion.

Continuous education to long-term success

Employees are more inclined to stay in a company that provides them with opportunities for growth and development, including knowledge acquisition. Investing in employee training and development can help create a positive work culture and increase employee satisfaction, leading to lower workforce turnover rates. In large companies, consistent internal education is especially important because changes and innovations in such organizations are complex and require greater coordination between different departments and teams. Since heavy industry involves a large number of hazardous materials and processes, well-trained employees are less prone to work-related injuries and other hazards.

Cooperation with schools and faculties

We have been cooperating with secondary schools for years, implementing projects such as professional practices, i.e. Dual education. In order to enable students to study and develop in the spirit of modern technologies, and at the same time in accordance with their age, we donate multifunctional smart benches, which we place in the courtyards of high schools. We cooperate with the faculties of Serbian universities through various sponsorships, professional internships, mutual scientific and technological cooperation and exchange of experiences and information.
